4th January 2021
We are running as normal a service as possible. This includes non urgent care such as check ups. However due to the need for social distancing, we are limiting the number of appointments available each day to keep the working environment safe for both our patients and team.
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. A member of the team will unlock the door for you - however please bear in mind they may be dealing with a patient either in person or on the phone - so please bear with us.
WHAT ARE WE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE?
7th June 2020
ON THE 28TH MAY THE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED DENTAL SURGERIES COULD REOPEN ON THE 8TH June. We are delighted to know we are able to work towards getting back to normal. However, this won’t happen immediately. Over the next few weeks we will be adjusting our workflow to comply with new COVID19 regulations and guidance. Therefore, please be patient with us over the coming weeks. We will contact patients in due course that have had their appointments cancelled / rebooked appointments. Please do not come to the practice to make an appointments/ enquires. Instead please continue to call the practice with any concerns you have. We will be prioritising those patients that have had/ having dental problems. We thank you for your patience at this challenging time.
Sincerely, FC Dental team
25 APRIL 2020
Dear Valued Patient,
During these unprecedented times we are unable to provide the normal care that patients are used to. Our practice will remain open during normal working hours to provide advice to patients and where necessary provide care in the form of prescriptions for analgesics and antibiotics.
If you have a dental emergency or need advice then please contact our telephone triage service by calling the practice on 01226 742 304.
Practices are working together and face to face consultations and very limited treatment, if necessary, will be provided for clinically urgent problems at one of these practices after telephone consultation with a dentist.
If you are calling outside of normal hours and have an urgent dental problem, please consider if this could wait until the following day or over the weekend rather than accessing the out of hours services.
If calling out of hours and the problem is extremely severe please contact the out of hours service through NHS111.
If your dental problem includes uncontrolled bleeding and a swelling that is causing breathing problems this is an emergency and you should go to A&E.
Please only contact us in cases of a genuine emergency as we need to prioritise our limited resources to help those who need us.
We will be contacting all patients who currently have appointments booked with us. Please do not attend the practice.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind patients to follow government guidance during this difficult time and wherever possible to STAY AT HOME.
Our team has worked with you and your family for many years and we look forward to seeing you again as soon as we can. We would like to send you our best wishes and hope that you stay safe and well during this extremely difficult time.
Sincerely, FC Dental team
